About Me

Breanna Heath is a Ball State University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in magazine journalism and minors in telecommunications video production and sustainability. Recently, Breanna worked for The Epoch Times as a breaking news reporter in Orange County, California. This position required her to conduct multiple interviews and write two 800-word articles daily. The content had to be compelling, detail-oriented, and completely error free. Breanna's work environment was incredibly fast-paced and demanding. Her daily tasks involved watching press conferences, keeping an eye out for any breaking news, reading through press releases, performing in-depth research, interviewing sources, curating content, copy-editing and fact checking, and providing exceptional communication and collaboration with the editor. Breanna was regarded as "setting the bar" for the breaking news reporting team at The Epoch Times.

Breanna also has expertise in the realm of marketing and e-Commerce. In June of 2019, she started her own online business in e-Commerce dropshipping. Here, Breanna studied and developed considerable knowledge and expertise in identifying target markets, Facebook ads, customer service, building engaging creatives, lead generation, curating effective product page descriptions, working with suppliers, email marketing and optimizing for SEO. She continues to pursue her self-starting endeavor as an entrepreneur and enjoys challenging herself every day.

In the fall of 2018, Breanna was one of five journalism students selected at her university to fly out to Austin, Texas to report at the annual APME-ASNE News Leadership Conference. Here, she had the opportunity to interview Publisher of The New York Times, A.G. Sulzberger, as well as many other nationally renowned figures in media. Breanna has also had the privilege to interview Academy Award winning director and CEO of the Ocean Preservation Society, Louie Psihoyos, about climate change and mass extinction for her piece on global environmental issues.

Furthermore, in January of 2018, Breanna joined her college debate team, helping them take the national title in March of 2018 and 2019. This experience offered Breanna the opportunity to further hone in and master her researching skills and become an expert at breaking down dense concepts and providing concrete evidence to support or negate the resolution.

Breanna plans to resume her career as a self-starting entrepreneur, with the goal in mind of further crafting and perfecting her direct sales and lead generation approaches to help businesses that align with her mission and values continue to flourish and grow.
